Sean Mundy

Montréal, Canada

Biography

Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1991, Sean Mundy creates conceptual images using photography and digital manipulation techniques.

Tackling the issues of self-doubt and identity, he creates austere, neutral and distant scenes where the tension and uncertainty are palpable.

Using a subtle and minimalist approach, he seeks to disrupt, select and even delete the traditional storytelling format to construct scenarios based on subjective associations.

About the artwork

Ruins explores a world without order following the collapse of all social and governmental bodies. Humans are left to themselves, isolated, in the very individualist remains of what used to be, in a bygone era, our modern society.
