Jean FÉDELARD is a French visual artist living and working in Paris. Her in situ works transform reality and provide a different look at our daily lives. She finds her inspiration in the absurd and plays with our perceptions by poetically disrupting our environment.
The illusion of a work of art takes shape by giving a title and a description to elements found in our everyday surroundings.
Hidden behind Jean Fédelard, Eva Clouard researches and writes to build this conceptual Street-Art project and construct history. In doing so, she raises the underlying question of the status of the artist.
“Fake works by a real artist bring to life the real works of a fake artist.”
