Fayçal Baghriche

Biography

Born in 1972 in Skikda, Algeria, Faiçal Baghriche studied at the Villa Arson in Nice (France), then moved to Paris where he currently lives. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad, notably at the Delfina Foundation in London, the Kunstverein Bielefelder (Germany), the Malmö Konstmuseum (Sweden), at the Centro Pecci in Prato (Italy), the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Algiers, the Arab Image Foundation in Beirut, the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston, etc. He has participated in the Venice, Dakar and Gwangju Biennials, and the Sorocoba Triennial in Brazil.
