The meeting place: Glass space, to the left of the escalators leading to the Viger Hall at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.
Follow the artists into the festival’s underground spaces! Through drawing, rediscover how different disciplines are related (sculpture, painting, graphic design and installation art). Consider your environment while drawing with the help of the stones, plastic or metal the artist has brought along or found. The images will be retouched with a graphite pencil, which will add both a material and philosophical dimension to your drawing.
Luis Canseco is one of the artists exhibited during the 12th edition of the Art Souterrain Festival, whose theme is RESET. He will teach you how to handle graphite and will accompany you through the creation process.
