Through deflection and parodic procedures, Alain Snyers turns a critical eye on society. By multiple plastic means including humour, he creates devices that express realities and social behaviours. Through acknowledgement and irony, he disclaims various facets of daily life. By means of ephemeral installations, diverted objects, poster campaigns and word games, he draws a portrait of urban living. Most of his offerings are designed in relation to their contexts.

Montreal real estate agency MONTR’IMMO will put up for auction its catalogue of Montréal properties for sale. This incredible selection of properties will be offered by MONTR’IMMO to its select clientele with a taste for something unique and one-of-a-kind.
Fifty-odd Montréal offices, homes, stores and locations will be auctioned off during this exceptional sale. The promotion and sale will be carried out by Alain Snyers, self-proclaimed and not-very-good auctioneer. Ads for the properties offered will be visible as of Saturday, March 2, at MONTR’IMMO agency’s premises at 1000, de La Gauchetière, Montreal.
