As part of this 13th edition of the Festival, we offer to orchestrate safe and inclusive round-table discussions on Chronometry. The notion of time and its variations being the main focus of the exhibitions this year, it’s in a gathering and sharing spirit that more than fifteen panelists will lend their voices to this specific theme. The round table will be divided in three parts to address various issues punctuated by the current context.

Dans le cadre de cette 13e édition du Festival Art Souterrain, nous proposons des discussions animées sur le thème de la Chronométrie et ses variations. Une proposition qui s’oeuvre de manière égalitaire et sécuritaire. Cette initiative a pour objectif de partager et d’élaborer sur les notions du temps, sujet central du festival Art Souterrain 2021 et du contexte actuel.Cette table élaborera sur la situation de l’art de performance et des arts vivants. Dans une période de pandémie contemporaine, Art souterrain s’engage de manière solidaire avec les milieux par le maillage, afin de les soutenir en ces temps difficiles. Notre première table ronde reflète nos intentions solidaires pour les différents milieux de l’art vivant. Une manière de donner parole et tribune à une situation qui touche tout l’écosystème culturel.Comment la pandémie a-t-elle transformé nos espaces d’expression, de rencontre et de liberté de création?

As part of this 13th edition of the Art Souterrain Festival, we offer lively discussions on the theme of Chronometry and its variations. A proposal that works in an egalitarian and secure manner. The aim of this initiative is to share and elaborate on the notions of time, a central subject of the Art Souterrain 2021 festival and of the current context.
Our last roundtable of programming and a little the conclusion of our tables which are more in the evaluation with the first, the renewal with the second and the action with the 3rd. We want to collaborate with artists, thinkers, activists, in the field of engaged art and understand the place of art and its actions in a context as particular as 2020-2021. Now it’s time, why is it time? Time for relaxation, for change, for action.
