Biography

Nosberto Lou was born in Guatemala. He lives and works in Canada since 2011. He is the coordinator of the Ateliers libres de modèles-vivants at the Centre culturel Georges-Vanier.

His pictorial work explores the narrative aspects of Guatemalan textiles. Indeed, their motifs, symbolism and mystique are at the center of his work. His compositions are born from moments and situations that the artist lives with strangers or friends.
