Activity D’improbables rencontres

Description

The artwork

D’improbables rencontres

Installation white earthenware, steel, 2008

D’improbables rencontres combines personal and art history references. It’s key being the lowest white box representing a miniature of his studio, also referencing to minimalism cubes. The artist suggests a dialog between angular shapes and curves: some architectures are set to contrast with ovoid or sinuous objects referencing to organic matter. Hinge work carried out in 2008, D’improbables rencontres comes back on years of practice and associates with new experiments, forming a rich and polysemous condensate.
