Artch is an initiative that aims to identify, train and transmit the work of promising Montreal artists.
The public will be able to live an immersive experience during the event, taking advantage of a more than ten free mediation activities, specially designed for all ages.
In collaboration with the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, 21 artists will be selected by a peer committee. A 3-month training will be offered to prepare them to enter the world of work and to find a place in the art market in Quebec. At the end of this specific accompaniment, the artists will exhibit their works at Dorchester Square in downtown Montreal in original structures specially designed to receive their creations.
The event will take place from September 27 to 30, 2018 in the public space, thus constituting a professional springboard for artists and a gain in notoriety.
Artch seeks to federate a network of artistic actors, while creating a privileged link with a new public.
