To do things at 33%

At the Fine Arts School of Grenoble (38), the encounter with Gianni Motti stimulates his interest for a performance genre which moves away from the idea of spectacle. Artistic project : To do things at 33%
It’s a performance project that I started in 2006 and ended in 2009. It consists in making minimal actions in my everyday life, following the rule: To do things at 33% ; To go up the Eiffel Tower at 33% (to go until a third of its high and then to go back down), to cook pasta at 33%, to watch a movie at 33%, to go to the bakery at 33%... It is a way to play with my life, and to create a diversion from its natural aspirations. There is no audience when I make these actions, in order to give me all the feeling of freedom and improvisation. And to live it fully, as any other bit of my life. These experiments are reported through documents – texts and pictures.
