Artistic project : Slab Base For a Future Monument
A wooden form will be filled with concrete ingredients that are specially formulated to never set. Reminiscent of historical references such as minimalist sculpture, 20th century architecture, the “Walk of Fame” and indeed the nearby section of Berlin Wall, this perpetually-malleable surface will forever resist a final state. Its pristine surface will be forever vulnerable to interventions, inscriptions and revisions by visitors, and it is entirely likely that the traces of gestures recorded in this concrete will be in constant flux.
