Born in Rimouski. Glitch art and serial music lover. I am an early childhood educator. In 2012, I completed a Masters in experimental media at UQAM with honors, and I received a postgraduate scholarship. I’ve exhibited three art installations since 2011. Constructivist psychology guides the interactive side of my work.
Artistic project : Pseudo-moteur
These days where it is frowned upon, though oh so enjoyable, to snitch a piston engine to simply hear and feel its vibrations, I propose a blue electric panel and its orange pedalboard. Waiting, the panel purrs slowly (on “iddle”). On the floor, the pedalboard is ready to be used. The accelerator revolutionizes this “Pseudo-moteur” and the “clutch” and transforms it into each of the 12 model types, from Harley Davidson to V12 diesel. By pushing on the pedals, the audience takes control on the panel. Zero emissions, this robotic installation is a playful alternative to the auto shows of this world. A pure experience.
