Artistic project : Enough Is Enough

The installation for Art Souterrain is based on the playful reconfiguration of a common English idiom ‘Enough is Enough’ and a pop image from the board game Monopoly into two patterns, one painted, the other applied as a backdrop in wallpaper.  The repeating text in front of the infintiely expanding pattern of the wallpaper presents a subtle critique of the current state of Capitalism and the seemingly never ending growth of the divide between the two ends of the economic spectrum.
